by Rev. Amy Carlson • Published Tuesday, September 17, 2024

This is your GUIDE MAP to the 2024 Convening General Conference. Each day this week we will explore 3 things to engage you and the local church with the upcoming Conference, Sept. 20-26, in Costa Rica:

1.) Discover Our Witness in Connection – We will share a written piece each morning to take you deeper into the connectional history of Methodism & the ongoing witness in the Global Methodist Church today. Sip your coffee… read & pray.

2.) Know How to Prepare for General Conference – Every lunchtime we will provide you with something practical you need for General Conference (such a links to live streaming!). Take a break… save links & send emails.

3.) Gather Info to Engage in General Conference – Each evening there will be an item you can read up on in order to better understand what this conference is about. Slow down… learn more & what it means.

Join the MidSouth Communications Team over the coming few weeks. We will share daily more info about the Methodist Connection, help prepare & inform you, and bring the 2024 Convening General Conference to the congregations of the MidSouth.

Check back regularly by visiting the MidSouth Linktree, Facebook, or Instagram. Updates will also be posted and shared on the website HERE.
