ABOUT DISASTER RELIEF
An Expanding Network & Effort for Those in Need
Born out of the call to respond to the victims of Hurricane Helene in the fall of 2024, the MidSouth Disaster Response Team quickly mobilized. It has evolved from a supply and relief mission into a thriving ministry that addresses a range of needs following disasters.

Please reach out to us about your questions. We are here for you.

CURRENT NEEDS & EFFORTS
Access Immediate Need Requests for Any Current Disaster Relief
Each time a response need occurs for a disaster in the MidSouth region, we are actively updating the supply chain with requested needs and donation sites. The aim is to minimize over-sourcing and increase efficiency in delivering goods directly to those in need.
We have a flyer that is updated to communicate these need requests to the Conference. This flyer and any other Disaster Relief resources can be found on our Linktree.

DISASTER RELIEF NETWORK
Do you feel called to Disaster Relief ministries?
We are continuing to build the MidSouth network across individuals and congregations as we raise up leaders and supply chain throughout Kentucky, Tennessee, Virginia, West Virginia, and parts of North Georgia. If you have a heart for serving and supplying to those in need, skillsets in building repair and emergency responding, are a chaplain, or simply a person ready to love on your neighbor... We'd love to connect you to this growing ministry of compassion.

Our Disaster Relief Network Needs:
District Coordinators
Our goal is to have one coordinator per district. This person would be the point of contact for that area should a disaster strike there as the MidSouth rallies in support.
Shelters & Housing
Temporary shelter for those displaced from their homes due to a disaster and housing for volunteers traveling to rebuild are common needs within this ministry.
Teams
Disaster Relief needs the entire body of Christ with many hands and feet to serve! We need meal teams, building repair teams, debris removal, and more.
Supply Hubs
When disaster strikes, we begin funneling specific supplies into that area. We are looking for congregations that can assist with receiving, sorting, and delivering supplies as hubs.
GIVING & GRANT OPPORTUNITIES
