The 2026 MidSouth Annual Conference Journal has been published and is now available here: 2026 Journal

The Conference Journal serves as the official record of the Annual Conference and includes reports, minutes, appointments, and other important records from the life and ministry of the MidSouth Conference.

With a document of this size and complexity, occasional errors or omissions are inevitable. We invite clergy, laity, and churches throughout the Conference to help us identify any corrections that may be needed.

If you notice an error in the Journal, please send the correction to Jennifer McCall at office@midsouthgmc.org or Chris Howlett at chowlett@midsouthgmc.org. Please include the page number and a brief description of the needed correction.

Errata

Rather than altering the Journal after publication, the Conference will maintain a separate Errata PDF. This document will be updated periodically as corrections are received and will provide readers with the most current information regarding any identified errors or omissions.

Rev. Dr. Chris Howlett

Rev. Dr. Chris Howlett serves as the Conference Connectional Officer and the Conference Secretary of the MidSouth Annual Conference. His leadership in these roles involves overseeing the planning and documentation of conference operations and coordinating administrative duties to support the mission and ministry of the conference across clergy, laity, churches, committees, boards, agencies, and extension ministries. Within this work, he implements the core philosophy of “discover[ing], develop[ing], and deploy[ing] people so that mission is translated into action” within his life and service in ministry.
