We are coming together in support of our 2026 Global Mission Partners with a special offering to Mozambique.
An individual or congregation can make a contribution. These donations can be made online or brought to conference as an offering.
The Board of Ministry report is for the clergy session only & access will be provided at the annual conference gathering.

Thank you for joining us at the 2026 Annual Conference gathering in Maryville, TN! During our time together, several reports will be shared. Below you will find each of those reports and addendums gathered into one place for easy access.
Mozambique mission offering
The MidSouth Annual Conference has the privilege of partnering with our brothers and sisters in the growing Global Methodist Church in Mozambique. What God is doing there is significant—and the need is immediate. The Mozambique Annual Conference currently owns no land or buildings. Without a permanent property, they risk losing their official organizational registration with the government. Simply put: this is not a long-term goal—it’s an urgent necessity.
At our 2026 Annual Conference, we will receive a special Missions Offering to fund the purchase of land and the construction of a combined conference headquarters and church building. This will establish a stable base for ministry, leadership, and future growth.
The challenges are real.
Mozambique is vast—over 300,000 square miles—with travel from the capital to the northern regions requiring flights and vehicle rentals. A nonstop drive would exceed 40 hours.
Leadership development is urgent, as the Conference works to raise up presiding elders to shepherd distant and hard-to-reach areas. In northern regions, many Christians face ongoing persecution from extremist groups.
And yet, the opportunity is just as real.
A permanent headquarters will not only secure the Conference’s legal standing—it will serve as a hub for equipping leaders, strengthening churches, and advancing the gospel across the nation.
This year’s Missions Offering is about more than a building. It’s about establishing a foundation for the future of Methodism in Mozambique.
When we give, we are not just meeting a need—we are helping plant something that will endure.
