Prayers of Support for Peru

by Rev. Amy Carlson • Published Monday, November 11, 2024

“I have made you a light for the Gentiles that you may bring salvation to the ends of the earth.” -Acts 13:47

TMS Global is one of our GMC approved mission efforts that the MidSouth Conference supports. Two of those missionaries are Tim & Jennifer Goshorn whose mission work in Peru is in connection with TMS Global. The mission of TMS Global is “to mobilize and deploy the body of Christ globally to join Jesus in His mission, especially among the least-reached peoples.” This is exactly what Tim and Jennifer are doing as they work with refugees, asylum-seekers, and others needing international protection. Huancayo, a city in the Andes Mountains, is where they live and work while building relationships, leading Kid’s Clubs and Bible studies, participating in ministry with an orphanage and prison, as well as leading medical mission trips into the jungle.

As the MidSouth Conference, we would like to come around the work of these GMC approved missions and participate in prayerful support. You can read the fall update from Tim & Jennifer Goshorn.
