ONLINE Certified Lay Minister Course: Basic Bible Course

Join us for this Basic Bible Course Certified Lay Minister course on March 7 & 14, 12:00 pm – 4:o0 pm EST. This course will examine the foundations of Bible study and interpretation.
Course Requirements:
- Write a one-page paper on your reflections on “How To Read The Bible for all It is Worth.”
- Write a one-page paper on your reflections on “Inductive Bible Study.”
- Submit both pages before the class begins and include any questions you may have in your papers. Submit papers to midsouthprayer@gmail.com
CLM Course Credits: The Certified Lay Minister status is a lay status granted to individuals who feel called to serve in the local church and beyond, though not in a clergy role. The Basic Bible Course will be considered a foundational course for the Certified Lay Minister certification. You can learn more about the Certified Lay Minister program here.

Required Reading: “How To Read The Bible For All Its Worth” by Gordon D. Fee & Douglas Stuart – Chapters 1-3, 5, 7, 8, 11 & 13; “Inductive Bible Study” by Richard Alan Fuhr Jr & Andreas J. Kostenberger- Chapters 1-10
Registration: This course has a $10 enrollment fee and open to participants from the MidSouth Annual Conference and the Western States Annual Conference. When registering, please indicate which annual conference you are affiliated so that your course completion can be communicated to the appropriate conference.
