The MidSouth Annual Conference Lay Connectional Team invites all laity, including clergy, to attend the Laity Meeting, for prayer and worship, on April 10th from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm at the West End Methodist Church in Wytheville, VA. This event is free and no registration is needed.
Presiding Elder, Rev. Daniel Fulton, will lead a session on the GMC Articles of Faith. Music will be led by Natalie Drummond and Presiding Elder, Rev. Dina Clower. Fielden Sanders, local church lay leader, will do the welcome. It is expected that other laity will lead scriptural readings, devotions, and lead prayer at different times during the day. Other program participants will be identified as we get closer to the program.
The church will be opened at 8 a.m. that morning, and breakfast refreshments will be provided. There will also be a mid-morning break with refreshments. Childcare will be provided for infants to 4 years old. Please make sure to provide your child with snacks/drinks.
