Communications Information Survey
Communications Rep Completing this Form

We’re reaching out to connect personally with each of our congregations — to discover how MidSouth Communications can best come alongside you to connect your congregation with what is happening in the conference.

Your church is part of a worldwide growing movement that’s rediscovering the power of connection — making disciples who worship passionately, love extravagantly, and witness boldly. Across the MidSouth, we’re seeing incredible signs of life and renewal, and we want to make sure every congregation feels supported and equipped to keep moving forward in mission.

First, let's gather some general information about your church and the best person for contact.

What is the Preferred Name of the Church? Example: Hilltop Methodist of Louisa, or Louisa Hilltop, or Hilltop Methodist (Louisa)
Name of Lead Pastor
For sharing information from the MidSouth about events or other communications initiatives, who is the best point of contact?

Now that we have that covered, we want to understand how your church like to communicate?

We understand that people prefer receiving information in different ways. Our goal is to discover the best way to communicate with your church's staff and congregation so that we can form relationships as ministry partners. Because of that, the MidSouth sends information using a wide variety of methods. We would like to take this time to learn more about you and find the best way forward so that your church can experience the connection that the Global Methodist Church and the MidSouth Annual Conference strive toward.
What is the preferred form of communication that your staff would like to receive?

Please select all that apply.
Was your church aware the MidSouth had this many forms of communication available?
If no, would you like help accessing any of these communications sources?
If the church is interested in connecting, ask them if they need technical assistance and then take them step-by-step. If they do not need technical assistance, direct them to midsouthgmc.org and scroll to the bottom of the homepage for easy links to Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, Linktree, and sign up for the email newsletter.
Has your church received the MidSouth Informational Packet from your Presiding Elder or other Conference leadership?
The information packet included a letter from Conference Superintendent, Rev. Todd Chancey, exploring church and clergy resources, discovering districts and leadership, getting connected, and more. The packet can be found here: https://midsouthgmc.org/wp-content/uploads/2025/08/MidSouth_Church-Info-Packet.pdf
Has your church been aware of the MidSouth events & resources, such as the Engage Mission Training, the Certified Lay Ministry, and the connection with Lay Leader David Duggan to share with their congregation?
The MidSouth schedules trainings around the Conference in various regions (such as the ENGAGE Mission Training and Symphony of Prayer events), specifically so that all the churches of the MidSouth are able to access these in a central location. We are also encouraging districts and churches to host these events in order to connect directly with those communities. All of these events are highlighted across our various forms of communication and can be found listed on our website at https://midsouthgmc.org/events/
