One of our financial values in the MidSouth Annual Conference is transparency. This transparency includes clear, secure ways to give that local churches can rely on. At no time will the MidSouth Annual Conference request financial support from the local church in any manner other than one of the two secure methods listed below, and at no time will an individual representing the MidSouth Annual Conference personally reach out to a local congregation requesting financial support. Knowing this can help you spot fraudulent requests quickly.

The 2 ways that the local church can give to the MidSouth in a secure manner, knowing that their financial giving is well-stewarded:

1. Payment by Check

For general or designated donations, as well as Connectional Funding, checks will be made payable only to the MidSouth Annual Conference, never to an individual or other organization. Checks may, at times, be gathered in person at events such as the annual conference gathering held each year, though more commonly will be mailed to: MidSouth A.C., P.O. Box 23497, Lexington, KY 40523

2. Donate Online

General or designated donations, as well as Connectional Funding, can be made online at https://midsouthgmc.org/giving/

In addition to clear ways of giving, we also communicate any giving endeavors through clear modes of communication:

  • The midsouthgmc.org website,
  • The official MidSouth Facebook and Instagram pages,
  • Through our email newsletter or print bulletin,
  • Or through official messages sent through Realm.

Have questions or unsure if a request for financial support is legitimate? If you, a local church, a clergy member, or a laity member are unsure about a transaction or the validity of a request, please know that the MidSouth Annual Conference is here for you. You can email our Treasurer, Rev. Dennis Bouch, at dbouch@midsouthgmc.org with any questions or needs of support, as well as our Communications Committee at communications@midsouthgmc.org to verify the validity of any promoted financial endeavors.

For any financial giving to the greater GMChurch, please refer to their website at https://globalmethodist.org/give/ and https://globalmethodist.org/connectionalfunding/ to verify their methods for secure giving.
