MidSouth Local Church Lay Leader Training

The MidSouth Lay Connectional Team has conducted local church lay leader training sessions in our conference, and is prepared to offer more training sessions.

If your church would be interested in discussing a lay leader training session for your church or district, please let David Duggan, our Conference Lay Leader, know by contacting him at kduggan789@aol.com, or by calling him at 865-414-1495. The training sessions feature handouts and they take about an hour to an hour and half depending on questions and discussion. The possibilities for the training session include Zoom meetings and in-person meetings—the latter especially if several churches come together, for example, in a district-level training session. Even for a single church, an in-person meeting may be possible if it is located reasonably close to one of the lay connectional team members. Likewise, a Zoom meeting session is available for a district-level session, including an evening meeting where each church representative remains in his or her home and participates by Zoom.
